Present your work clearly

Use bright, accurate photographs on a simple background. Show the front, back and important details. Do not use another designer's images, celebrity photographs or supplier catalogues.

Set realistic expectations

State a starting price in Australian dollars, typical production time and the customisation options you genuinely offer. Explain whether fabric, lining, embellishment, shipping and duties are included.

Protect both sides

Keep written records of measurements, materials, design changes, timeline and payment terms. Send progress photographs when appropriate. Never request passwords or card details.
